Romani is a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and an accredited mediator through the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department. She practiced as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria holding a current practicing certificate. Romani is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria’s, Children and Young People Committee which advocates and promotes change and better practices in regard to children and young people. Through the Castan Center for Human Rights, she volunteers at Port Phillip Prison talking with the indigenous men and offering support where needed.
Romani has a compassionate and focused commitment when working collaboratively with families to find coordinated and effective solutions in every matter. Through the mediation process she stresses a child focused and often a child inclusive approach to ensure the best interests of children are always central to every discussion. Romani can assist with parenting plans, property and asset agreements as well as offering strategies to support separating families.
